Emo Dancer is a short and simple project made together with a student. The little figure express four of the basic emotions in body postures, and can at the same time turn and jump to make a dance to the music. The expressions are minimal as the figure is a compound of very few parts. The project intented to demonstrate some basic body postures that can accompany affects. Affects are basic emotional expressions that are universal and innate and involves specific neurological and body states. (The music, nicely played by our student is a Frensh Rigaudon, which is a type of 17th Century dance, here mixed with some modern sounds.)
It was first presented as a web game but is now planned to get a new release in a new version.
